Indication: Carpal tunnel syndrome. Median nerve neuropathy
Duration: 30 minutes
Associated procedures: Cubital tunnel release
Anaesthesia: Local anaesthesia and sedation, or general anaesthesia
Incision: 3cm incision hidden in the thenar crease
Length of hospital stay: Day case
Recovery: One week in a bulky dressing. Two – four week in night splint
